Erin O’Toole, LMHC, ADHD-CCSP —
Whether ADHD has been part of your story for years, you’re navigating anxiety or a major life transition, or you’re simply exhausted from trying to think your way out of everything… you’re allowed to want a different way forward.
You know what you need to do, but getting your brain to do it… Well, that’s a whole different story.
You’ve spent more hours than you’d like to admit trying to “get it together.” Remember the thing. Start the thing. Finish the thing. Stick to the routine you swore would finally change everything.
And after enough rounds of “why can’t I just do this?” it’s easy to start wondering if you’re the problem (Psst. You’re not and we’ll figure it out together!).
ADHD Therapist Who Gets How Complicated Brains Can Be
My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, curious, and honestly…pretty direct. I’ll always meet you where you’re at while also gently challenging the patterns, expectations, and ways of thinking that are keeping you stuck.
I will, however, tell you when you’re being too damn hard on yourself, keep falling into patterns that are no longer serving you, and help you untangle what’s underneath all of that overwhelm.
I work with adults based in New York & New Hampshire who are diagnosed, self-diagnosed, late diagnosed, or still figuring out whether ADHD is part of the picture… along with folks navigating anxiety, life transitions, difficult family dynamics, or just feeling stuck in patterns they can’t seem to shake.
A virtual therapy space to make sense of what’s going on, what keeps getting in the way, and what might actually help.
No two brains work the same…especially in relationships. Maybe you both have ADHD, one of you does, or neither of you does. Couples therapy can help you understand each other better, communicate more clearly, and work through the patterns creating distance.
A neuro-affirming community created to help you feel less alone and process your neurodivergent experiences alongside other ADHDers who nod along.
